“*Warning* I am only good for “weird news” or random human interest stories. You should know that going in. I read this on the Internet, and it was submitted by the Associated Press so that should count for sort of credibility, I hope.
Yesterday, May 6, in Bremerton, Washington, an officer was responding to a reported shoplifting incident that involved a 15-year-old boy stealing candy bars. The suspect tried to get away on his bicycle, but police eventually caught up with the boy and knew they had the right suspect when they smelled chocolate on his breath. When the police questioned the boy about why he stole the chocolate he reportedly confessed and told the officers,”[H]e was hungry and did it for the thrill.”
